Cover it Live: Final Score: Mansfield Boys 68, Brookline 50

The Hornets will head to UMass Boston back to UMass-Boston Saturday for the Division 1 South Final.

Franklin may be history, but the road to the state championship at the DCU Center is not going to get any easier.

The Hornets will travel to UMass Boston tonight as they take on the Brookline Warriors of the Bay State Conference at 7:30 p.m.

Mansfield is comming off a tightly contested game against Franklin that saw junior point guard Rocky DeAndrade bring the Hornets back from a three point deficit late in the forth quarter and then lock up the game in overtime with a three to put Mansfield up six with less a minute to play.

Brookline, on the other hand, is coming off a 63-46 victory over Marshfield. Elijah Rogers has been on a tear for the Warriors, scoring 21 points and pulling down five rebounds in the quarterfinals.

If you can't make it to Boston, you can follow all the action with Cover it Live, in real time.

When Mansfield makes a big play, knocks down multiple three point baskets or scores on the fast break, Patch will keep you updated.

Why wait until the following day or the following week to find out about how the Hornets fared today? Why even wait until after the game?

The blog will be posted today at 7 p.m., with tip-off to follow at 7:30 p.m. so be sure to follow all the action on Mansfield Patch…live.
