Local Speaker Featured For Tri-Town Chambers Women’s Link

Life Simplified owner Jen Vondenbrink to speak at this month's Women's Link.

Jen Vondenbrink, owner of Life Simplified in Foxboro and a director at the Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce based in Mansfield is the featured speaker for this month’s Women’s Link on April 10 at Showcase Live from 7:30 a.m.-9 a.m.

“This is a great opportunity to connect with local professionals in a way I usually don’t get the chance to,” said Vondenbrink.

Jen usually speaks to groups about the changing world of social media, but on April 10 the Women’s Link will be treated to a more personal side of her journey from a Starbucks Coffee Company corporate employee or “partner” as she says to start the small business consulting firm, Life Simplified.

“There came a time when I wanted to leave more of a legacy than what I was doing at Starbucks," she said. "That’s what I’ll share with the Women’s Link Group.  Not only my journey, but also how they can start to leave the legacy they want every day.”

Besides helping small business owners succeed, Jen also conducts various workshops through the Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce and at the Keller Williams Training Center in Plainville.  In March she joined the instructors at Geek Girl Camp, a day of social media and technical workshops for over 500 participants.  She regularly speaks to groups on developing social media strategy.  In January Jen was chosen as the featured blogger to kick off an 8 week Re-Invention series for the national blog, BlogHer.com.  She is currently working on her next book with the working title, The Inspired Entrepreneur.
