Mansfield Police Log: Skunks, Flying Cars and Thefts
The following is from the Mansfield Police Log from dates Feb. 10-14
Feb. 10
8:39 a.m. Caller reported a larceny on Stearns Avenue.
1:55 p.m. Kim Ingolia, 55, of 14 Concetta Dr. was arrested for domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Her son called and reported an argument in which Ingolia struck him in the leg with a knife sharpener.
Feb. 11
5:13 p.m. Caller reported that copper was stolen from his residence on Canoe River Drive estimated to be worth over $500.
Feb. 12
1:53 a.m. Caller reported that she saw a vehicle strike a light pole at the intersection of School Street and Central Street (Route 140). Vehicle left the scene of the collision. Caller reported the vehicle was possibly a green Ford Taurus. Police found that the vehicle apparently struck the island in the intersection and went airborne and struck the main support pole to the overhead light.
3:31 a.m. James Thifault, 30, of 247 Dana St. in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, was arrested for larceny from a building.
Feb. 14
7:06 a.m. Caller reported a rabid skunk chasing his dog on Casa Drive.
7:25 a.m. Caller reported that someone had broken into his vehicles during the night on Charles Street.
4:13 p.m. Caller reported that two bikes were stolen from her garage.
8:22 p.m. Darrin Martin, 45, of 1107 Gregory Oaks Drive in Knoxville, Tennessee, was arrested for domestic assault and battery at the Holiday Inn.
