Mansfield Police Log: Stolen Cars, Pool Drainers and Deer Strike

The following is from the Mansfield Police Log from July 11 to July 13

July 11

9:12 a.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that his vehicle had been struck by a hit and run on Oak Street.

9:13 a.m. Caller reported a 2.5 inch knife slit in her above ground pool on Atwood Street.

11:27 a.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that his vehicle had been stolen.

8:51 p.m. Caller reported a car versus deer collision on Route 140. No injuries on the driver but the deer had been killed.

July 12

5:56 a.m. Zachary Allen, 19, of 30 Pleasant St. was arrested for domestic assault and battery.

6:53 a.m. Caller reported that his vehicle was stolen from his garage overnight on Goward Drive.

8:57 a.m. Caller reported her son’s bike was stolen from their residence on Spring Street.

9:35 a.m.  Party on Ware Street reported that his house was broken into during the night.

July 13

8:55 a.m. Caller reported on Tuesday that someone had put two holes in her swimming pool. After they had patched the holes and refilled the pool, someone had again put two more holes in the pool.

12:22 p.m. Caller reported she has a bat in her home and that it has been there for several days. Animal control officer Jeffrey Collins removed the bat and tested it.

1:13 p.m. Caller reported a hit and run at the Home Depot parking lot.

3:27 p.m. Caller reported identity theft and several credit cards opened in her name totaling $1,700.

4:31 p.m. Caller reported the theft of a BMX bike from their residence on East Street.
