Special Olympic athletes from fifteen cities and towns in Southeastern Massachusetts gathered Sunday to compete in the organization's Assessment Tournament. Teams played in a series of round robin soccer matches meant to level set the competition as they progess to SOMA's State Soccer Tournament to be held at the Governor's Academy in Byfield, Massachusetts on November 6th.

     Athletes and partner-coaches were treated to lunch and awarded Special Olympics pins to celebrate their day.
