The New England Folk Festival rocked Mansfield this weekend, as thousands of people came to see the hundreds of performances and workshops of the festival.

Musicians lined the hallways and fields; either for atmospheric improvement or practicing before a performance. Music literally filled the air around the two schools; carrying well over a radius of a few football fields.

Parking was an issue for most of the festival, as satellite lots were needed to accommodate the volume of incoming revelers.

There were so many events at the festival we weren't able to cover all of it. You can link any of your videos up on this story, so if we don't have it up here, just link it to the story. Check back later, as more of our videos will be uploaded as today progresses.

Thank you for theses great pics and clips. They capture the spirit and energy festival goers and performers bring. This is our fifth year in Mansfield and despite the weather it was a success. I want to also thank the schools and the town for all they do to help us celebrate New England's rich folk traditions.

In answer to the query about the names of the tunes played by the Strathspey and Reel Society of NH, they are Maddy and Karine's Wedding (Aiden O'Rourke), Simon Thoumire's Jig (John McCusker) and The 30 Year.
