Other facts

Sean Bielat is a family man, business man and a Marine. In 2010, Sean's campaign to retire Barney Frank and to represent Massachusetts 4th Congressional District received national attention. Despite running against a 16-term incumbent, in a highly gerrymandered district, and being outspent by $2 million, the Bielat for Congress campaign managed to get within striking distance of victory. Sean and his wife Hope are residents of Norfolk, MA. They are the proud parents of Theodore, born in August 2010, and Seraphina, born November of last year. Sean currently leads a non-partisan online messaging platform. He also serves as an officer in the Marine Corps Reserve. Sean worked his way through college and graduate school, aided by scholarships and the GI Bill. He now holds a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Council on Emerging National Security Affairs.

Suggestions if you get to Washington: 1. Sign the "No tax pledge" so you will get funding from your party's corporate managers. (And so the Grover Norquists won't cut you off if you don't!) 2. Quietly open you doors to the lobbyists first, but remember to do public photo ops once in a while with citizens. 3. Prioritize! Elections happen sporadically. Corporate dollars flow continuously. 4. Under no conditions let your loyalty to country supercede your loyalty to your party. 5. Talk to the "Have Nots", but listen to the "Haves" Do these things and you'll get a couple of terms and then you can become a lobbyist yourself and make the real money! Good luck!
