UPDATE: Mansfield Could Get 10-14 Inches of Snow

Despite an initial forecast of 1-3 inches of snow, Mansfield may get a little more than expected,

 

Update 4:14 p.m.: In their latest forecast, WHDH said that Mansfield could see 10-14 inches thought tomorrow. So far, Mansfield has received seven inches of snow.

According to WHDH's Pete Bouchard, the storm is about halfway done and should be done by the late Friday morning.

 

Original Story: Originally thought to be a small storm that would drop only 1-3 inches of snow in Mansfield, a new forecast from WHDH shows the town getting 6-10 inches through Friday.

In addition, the National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Bristol County until 1 p.m. Friday.

According to the warning, the heaviest accumulations are expected tonight into Friday morning but some accumulations will occur today especially across the elevated interior areas of southeast Massachusetts.

Winds are expected to hit 15 to 25mph, with gusts up to 45mph.

The NWS is also reporting that Mansfield has already received about five inches of snow.
