What Would You Ban in Mansfield?

A number of communities have deep-sixed some interesting items and activities over the past year, but should Mansfield join the banning bandwagon?

Concord’s so-called bottle ban became a bylaw earlier this week, Brookline recently banned plastic bags and Styrofoam cups, and Arlington’s Town Meeting this fall upheld a seasonal leaf blower ban. Meanwhile, home-cooked foods have been forced out of many schools, an ostensible attempt to protect against allergies and childhood obesity.

Mansfield hasn’t exactly hopped on this banning bandwagon, but should it?

Is there an activity or item you would want to see banned out of environmental, health or quality-of-life concerns? Let us know in the comments section below.

I would ban articles asking what should be banned. If people aren't up and arms asking for something to be banned all this does is stir up trouble that didn't exist.

Oh my god Oleg, have you looked at the salaries and positions of Mansfield employees? It's unbelievable! Hey patch why can't you look into that and post some numbers related to the waste? There are soo many useless positions and so many inflated salaries its sickening. Publish some public number and let residents discuss them here.

I would ban Brenda Hodges and William Ross. They have no financial sense on how to run the town & school system. Try cutting costs for once.

Keep talking about wasteful spending folks, I bet 95% of Mansfield residents don't have any concept of how rampant it is.
