The other day while at Wines & More, I found myself standing in the beer aisle with an empty six pack case overwhelmed with the many choices that were there before me. I knew I wanted a Pale Ale but the idea of a "Create Your Own 6-Pack" is new to me. In the past when I wanted to try a beer I have never had before I had to purchase a pack of 6 bottles and if I didn't like them; they would sit in my fridge until my friends finished them off. Now, I will no longer find myself in that situation and to celebrate... an every beer for itself death match.
The Combatants:

Nice! Can't wait to read your reviews. Are any of the pale ales also considered "lite beers" as in fewer calories?

Posted the first review today... As far as calories go... Jeff pretty much said it all. Pale Ales range anywhere from 130 to 230 calories where most light beers are around 90 to 110. I have yet to find a light beer that I love so if I am ever in a cutting calories kind of mood, I will find a way to leave it out of a meal and leave the beer alone. ;-)

Does anyway have carb counts for these? I have to keep my carbs down and have been delegated to drinking lite beer - except for when I cheat - which is far too often.

Ruination - 9g carbs
Dogfish Head - 16g
Flying Dog = 11g
For 12 oz.
The others I couldn't find but it is a safe bet that they are in the same ballpark.
The Endurance Pale Ale Review is coming up next... I can't wait to try this one!!
