Welcome to my blog!

I have a love of local music and thought it would be a good idea to tell people my opinion of the bands that are playing locally. If you have a favorite local band that is playing anywhere from Norton to Plymouth and up to Quincy area, let me know so I can explore why you think they are your favorite. 

My first blog is about the band Radio Daze who played at Casey O'Connors in downtown Mansfield.

The band consisting of four men, Paul Souza - vocals; Joe Rivet - guitar and vocals; Matt Tighe - bass and vocals; and Zac Casher - drums and vocals, put on a great show of music you can both sing along with and dance to.

I enjoyed the showmanship of the lead singer Paul Souza, who likes getting the fans involved by standing on the bar and singing to them. He certainly put on a great show.

All of the band members sing at various points. Joe Rivet (guitar and vocals) has an amazing voice and holds his own on the songs he sings. Both Matt Tighe (bass and vocals) and Zac Casher (drums and vocals) mostly sing back up.

Radio Daze performed hits from Queen, AC DC, Kid Rock, Gin Blossoms, and Rick Springfield just to name a few. I would say this is a band that you shouldn't miss. If you have a chance to see them, I say go!
