Chattham is a 15-year-old female cat who currently resides at the Mansfield Animal Shelter. Suzie Q is a female cat who was found and brought to the Mansfield Animal Shelter to find a safe home. Her age is unknown.She has beautiful and unique coloring and catches the eye instantly. On top of great looks, she has a great personality. She is a hospitable feline who is very accepting of attention from new people. A good scratch is her cup of tea. One of the newest surrenders to the Mansfield Animal Shelter is a 5-year-old male cat named Buttercup. He is waiting for someone to take him home.He is an affectionate and congenial cat. Jynx and Lucky are both 5-year-old male cats who were surrendered from the same home to the Mansfield Animal Shelter. Volunteers hope for the two to be adopted together.Both cats are friendly and like attention but Lucky is more independent and outgoing than Jynx. Jynx tends to be more shy and mellow. Meepers is a 5-year-old female cat who was surrendered to the Mansfield Animal Shelter. She has been staying there for approximately two months, waiting for someone to take her home. It is hard to ignore Meepers’ beautiful green eyes, silky black and white fur and long, distinguished whiskers. She is a friendly cat but is shy and cautious. She enjoys being pet and welcomes attention but her shyness makes her hold back slightly. Friskies is a 5-year-old male cat who has been waiting at the shelter for a new home since last July. He got his name for a reason. He is a frisky feline who gets a little fresh from time to time. He is very sweet, however. He enjoys playing with toys and hanging out. Do not be surprised if he gives you a little love nibble if you go to see him. That is just a part of his playful personality. Maximilian, or Max is a male cat who was found hanging around outside a home. He would love a family of his own.Max may look a little bizarre now, as he has recently been shaved but do not let that fool you. One minute with Max and you will fall in love. Rory is a 5-year-old female cat who was a frequent visitor to a local garage. She has been at the shelter for some time and would love someone  to take her home. Originally told she was a little wild,volunteers did not allow her out of her cage when she first came to the shelter. They were very pleasantly surprised when they let her out for the first time and she was just the opposite.  She is a very playful and sweet cat. Butterscotch is an 8-year-old female cat looking for someone to love. She was surrendered to the shelter because her family relocated to a home that did not  allow cats. She needs a new home and a new family to call her own.Butterscotch lived with another cat in her last home and would not mind living with one again. Milo, a 10-month-old Jack Russell Terrier is new to the Mansfield Animal Shelter. In his short life he has moved up north from a breeder in Tennessee and lived in at least two different homes, the last one for just two weeks. He has had terrible luck finding the right family.Milo is a very energetic dog. Volunteer Chuck MacKean said being with Milo is like being in a closet with a kangaroo, but he is very sweet and just needs to burn off some of his energy, he is a puppy after all. Kiddie is a declawed, 11-year-old male cat who currently calls the Mansfield Animal Shelter home. He is a bit nervous there and is desperate for more freedom. He is small and quiet and often goes unnoticed by volunteers because he does not get into as much trouble as some of his neighbors. Despite his avoidance of trouble, he is a curious fellow and when he gets a little freedom in the play room he yearns to see more. Spunky is a 10-year-old male cat, surrendered to the shelter because he doesn’t enjoy sharing his family with other animals. Despite that, he is an incredibly sweet cat who loves people. Spunky would prefer that his owners be home during the day because he loves attention. His name suggests that he is extremely energetic but he is more of a lap cat who enjoys being petted and loved.
