Caring for the sick/elderly can consume a lot of one’s energy and compassion. What happens when the well runs dry? So many of us are caring for loved ones at home and it is not an easy thing to do. Caregivers often feel stressed and very much alone. This one hour workshop defines and explains “Compassion Fatigue”, identifies the unique symptoms of those suffering from it and offers remedies to combat and recover from these debilitating symptoms.
Presented by Michael Cruza, Hospice Services Specialist, Old Colony Hospice. With over 20 years experience in the healthcare industry, Michael has worked in hospice care for the past 8 years.
