DESCRIPTION:Hurricane Sandy was a powerful storm that for many families a
 nd children destroyed their homes and belongings.&nbsp\; We are so thank
 ful that the recent storm did not impact our area as significantly as ot
 hers.&nbsp\; We have many locations in New Jersey that were directly imp
 acted from the storm.&nbsp\; We would like to support their recovery eff
 orts by providing families\, especially children\, with new goods and su
 pplies essential for them to start to rebuild their lives.\nMany familie
 s lost everything\, from clothing to basic essential supplies.&nbsp\; If
  you are interested in donating items we will be collecting donations fr
 om the list below through Friday\, November 9th to deliver various locat
 ions in need.&nbsp\; Our site is designated to collect the following ite
 ms needed:\n\nPajamas (new or gently used)\nSocks\nColoring books and cr
 ayons\nChildren's Story Books\n\nIf you are interested in making a finan
 cial donation we would ask that families make checks directly payable to
  The American Red Cross.&nbsp\; You may drop those checks with your Cent
 er Director (Michelle Lord) and we will ensure that they are sent to loc
 al Red Cross chapter in New Jersey.\nWe hope that you will join us in gi
 ving back to those that were not as fortunate as us this past week.&nbsp
