As school lets out today for the long Thanksgiving weekend, Mansfield students and residents have a lot to look forward to--Turkey with all the fixings, a four-and-a-half day weekend, and of course the annual Thanksgiving Day football game against Foxboro.
The classic rivals will face off tomorrow morning at 10 at the Ahern Middle School and ticket prices will be $10, so come support the hornets and celebrate their successful season. Last year, Foxboro beat Mansfield 27-21 for the first time since 2006.
Will Mansfield reclaim their Thanksgiving victory or will Foxboro repeat? Either way, the Hornets have a lot to be thankful for this year, as they will be playing in the Division II State Superbowl against St. John's of Shrewsbury on Dec. 7.
