Crossway Church to Stage "The Boy Who Cried Wolf"

Members of Crossway Church will present a unique version of the classic  play, “The Boy Who Cried Wolf,” as part of its ongoing children’s theatre program Saturday, Nov. 16, starting at 4 p.m. at the church located at 282 Summer Street in Franklin.

According to Director Rebekah Tracy, “The Boy Who Cried Wolf” is specifically targeted to children and lasts just 30 minutes. While most of the play will adhere to its traditional plot, Crossway’s version will include adaptations of the original production emphasizing morality and conviction.

“Our version of ‘The Boy Who Cried Wolf’ will focus on the effects of lying and how that affects people’s trust in one another,” Tracy said. “It is a good-quality production complete with costumes, makeup and staging and we think everyone will enjoy it.”

Following Saturday’s production, a “Meet and Greet” with cast members will be held in the church basement and include free refreshments.
