Rhode Island & Bristol County, MA – March 10, 2014 – Dunkin’ Donuts franchisees in Rhode Island and Bristol County, MA are pleased to announce that they have donated $150,000 to Special Olympics Rhode Island and Special Olympics Massachusetts South Section, thanks to the support of their loyal guests during a holiday season-long fundraiser.
Beginning on Black Friday, guests had the opportunity to purchase refillable travel mugs that entitled the bearer of the mug to 99-cent refills of hot and iced coffee after 2pm through March 31st. Franchisees donated $1.00 for every mug purchased to Special Olympics and thanks to the support of their loyal guests, that donation totaled $150,000.
