Bishop Feehan High School Principal George Milot announced that senior Andrea Vale (Mansfield) was named as the recipient of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Good Citizens Award. These awards are given to outstanding high school seniors for their contributions to their communities and schools. Vale was chosen for this award by demonstrating qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism. She is an honor student and involved in Feehan’s Student Council, Peer Ministry, Students Against Destructive Decisions, Pro Life Team, Go Positivitee, newspaper, track and cross-country. Her extensive service to the community includes serving as alter server at St. Mary’s Parish in Mansfield, participating in Big Sister program, tutoring students at St. John the Evangelist, and walking at the Relay for Life in Mansfield as part of “Team Paula”.
“We are so proud of Andrea – an outstanding leader and student here at Feehan,” commented Milot. “Through her efforts to make our school, our community, and our world a better place, she is truly a leader by example.”
