Mansfield Cultural Council Seeks New Members

Residents of Mansfield are invited to apply to join the Mansfield Cultural Council, a volunteer board responsible for supporting local cultural programs. The Mansfield Cultural Council receives funding from the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the Town of Mansfield to support local organizations that provide programs in the arts, humanities and interpretive sciences.  Members of the Mansfield Cultural Council serve a three-year term and are responsible for reviewing grant applications and determining award amounts based on the programs’ benefit to Mansfield residents. Programs that typically receive funding from the Cultural Council include school plays, library programs, Council on Aging activities, school field trips, art festivals, and musical performances.  The application for joining the Mansfield Cultural Council can be found at mansfieldma.com.
