I agree with....everyone. It was nice downtown but had some serious space restrictions, particularly as related to growing the market. I live downtown, too, and will miss having it there. That said, the new space in Mansfield Crossing is larger, more visible, easier to navigate for both vendors and visitors. I am not the market manager I simply posted this announcement. I have accepted the fact that its moving and know its got great potential in this new location. I also agree North Main Street has a tremendous amount of potential, but not with it's current limitations. I hope you all come to the new location and enjoy it - I think it's going to be great!

Hi Farmers' Market Manager here. I truly sympathize with all your comments but in order to grow the Market, it had to move. In addition, there were safety concerns having the Market in the middle of the parking lot. Believe me, I loved for other spaces downtown, even met with our Town Manager. I sincerely hope that you will all give the new site a chance. And again, if anyone is interested or knows someone who might like to participate in the Market, please contact me at farmersmarket02048@gmail.com. Thanks.

Well, I rarely go over to Mansfield Crossing, and certainly not at that time of day.

So sad, I enjoyed my walks to the farmer's market downtown. Not having a car, it was so convenient. Unfortunately I will only be able to visit markets on the weekend when my husband is home, so surrounding towns will get our business. I will miss it...
