Patriots Fans Urged to Leave Bags at Home
In response to a new National Football League (NFL) bag policy, the Massachusetts Bay Commuter Rail (MBCR) urges all fans utilizing MBTA Commuter Rail “Football Trains” for New England Patriots’ home games to leave all bags and backpacks at home.
There is no storage available at Gillette Stadium for items that do not meet NFL requirements. No personal items may be left on trains during games. In addition, there is no storage available at commuter rail stations.
The recommendation comes in response to NFL limitations on the size and types of bags that are allowed in NFL stadiums.
