Summer Programs for High School Students

Here at Campus Bound (www.campusbound.com) our counselors advise on any number of topics.  Believe it or not, summer programs for high school (even middle school students) is something parents inquire about frequently- in wanting to know if it would be the best pathway for their child.  Some students have a desire to attend a summer program to figure out whether or not they would like to pursue a specific major while others want the opportunity to live on a college campus for a week (or more) to see how they would feel about attending college in the south, west or even locally in an urban setting.

Below is a short list of programs some of our students have attended, or we have heard positive things from those that have participated.  Once you access the link, you will be able to see what is offered during the summer session along with deadlines for the application process, fees, requirements and so on.  There are also many summer experiences that exist aside from what is below that are worthwhile.

Although summer may seem far away (especially with the freezing temperatures in the Northeast), many of these programs have deadlines in February or March. Be sure to make plans soon!
