JetBlue to Halt Flights to, from Boston Monday Afternoon

The airline will reduce operations starting at 1 p.m. Monday, with all flights to be shut down by 5 p.m.

JetBlue will halt flights in and out of Boston Monday, as well as flights to and from New York City and Newark, New Jersey. 

The airline will reduce operations starting at 1 p.m. Monday at Boston's Logan International Airport, New York's JFK and Laguardia airports, and New Jersey's Newark Airport, according to CBS Boston

"Our fee waiver has been extended," JetBlue posted on its Facebook page Monday. "If you have travel plans today, tomorrow or Monday, consider changing your flight and be sure to check your flight status before heading to the airport."

All flights will be shut down at 5 p.m. Monday and remain stopped until 10 a.m. Tuesday. Flights are expected to ramp up thereafter, and the airline expected to be 100 percent operational by 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, according to the report. 

Flights on the airline have been delayed or cancelled since Friday, Jan. 3 due to weather impacts across the nation.
