Mansfield Mural Committee Meets Fundraising Goal

The Mansfield Mural being painted along the 106 underpass will hopefully be completed this fall.

The Mansfield Mural Committee has secured the remainder of its $50,000 fundraising goal and will hopefully finish the mural being painted under the Route 106 underpass this fall, according to the Sun Chronicle

The committee decided to begin working on the mural after it was approved by voters at Town Meeting last April, having only secured part of the funds. The committee was still $10,000 short at the end of September.

Now that the goal has been met, mural artist Ian Gaudreau and volunteers are trying to finish most, if not all of the mural by the end of fall. If cold weather interferes, a small section of the mural will be completed in the Spring.
