1:38 p.m. Trash/recycle collection scheduled for today has been cancelled, according to an announcement on the town's Facebook. Trash/recycling collection normally scheduled for Thursday (Jan. 2) will be picked up on Saturday (Jan. 4). Collection normally scheduled for Friday (Jan. 3) will be picked up on Monday (Jan. 6). All pick-up next week will be delayed one day.

The first storm of 2014 is underway as the initial flakes began falling after midnight on Thursday. During the day on Thursday there will be some accumulation, though much of the snow will come Thursday night into Friday before the storm ends by Friday afternoon.
