Sturdy Memorial May Support Groups

Sturdy Memorial Hospital offers support groups on a variety of topics throughout the year.  The groups are free and open to the public.  The following are scheduled for May 2012:

Prostate Cancer Support Group – Wednesday, May 2, 2012 from 7 – 8:30 p.m. in Conference Rooms A, B & C.  For more information, call the Oncology Department at 508-236-7010.

Breastfeeding Support Group – Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 10 – 11:30 a.m. in the Clinical Education Center.  For more information, call Nursing Administration at 508-236-7151.

Partners and Caregivers of Patients with Cancer Support Group – Wednesday, May 9, 2012 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. in Conference Room A.  For more information, call the Oncology Department

Stroke Support Group – Thursday, May 10, 2012 from 10 – 11:30 a.m. in the Clinical Education Center.  The topic of discussion will be Impacts of Stroke on Personality & Socialization presented by Cara Burdette, MS, CC-SLP, Speech Pathologist at Sturdy Memorial Hospital.  For more information, call Nursing Administration at 508-236-7166.
