JEWISH ROCK ARTIST SHELDON LOW TO PERFORM

IN NORTH EASTON, MA ON NOVEMBER 12, 2011.

NORTH EASTON, MA (09/15/11) – Temple Chayai Shalom’s School Committee presents Jewish Rock Star Sheldon Low (www.sheldonlow.com).  Low will appear at Stonehill College - Alumni Hall, located at 320 Washington Street, North Easton, MA 02357 on Saturday, November 12.

Sheldon Low is the newest face in Jewish music performing rock concerts and leading artist-in-residency weekends in Jewish communities throughout the United States.  Low has an undeniable appeal to youth and family audiences, not only as a musician, singer/songwriter and entertainer, but most importantly, as a Jewish educatorand role model.

He will be performing songs from his upcoming release, Light Up Shabbat, as well as selections from his other hit Jewish rock albums.  Tickets for this event are $10 in advance or $12 at the door.  Tickets are available through the Temple Chayai Shalom office or by calling 508.238.6385.

Low’s debut album, On one Foot, was released in June, 2006 on independent label Jewish Rock Records and includes special guest vocalists and musicians featuring Rick Recht, Beth Schaeffer and a choir of BBYO and NFTY
teens.  On one Foot highlights Sheldon’s ability to craft both powerful pop songs and timeless liturgical melodies for service settings.
