 in Mansfield is presenting, "Beatles Journey Thru the Doors." This band is features the owner of Casey O'Conors' Rob Burns.

The Mansfield Music and Arts Society is presenting a production of the East Coast  award winning, original adaptation of Shakespeare’s  by Matthew Kellen Burgos and Sam R. Ross, co-Artistic Directors of Vanguard Repertory Company (an LA based equity company) at 2 p.m. This production will be directed by Neil Colvin, former Chairman of the Board for Shakespeare and Company, and producer of several Tony Award nominated shows.  It will be a free production held at the Black Box Theater located at 377 North Main St., Mansfield.   Tickets can be reserved by calling MMAS or visiting our website. This adaptation has a running time of 90 minutes, with no intermission.  It is set in the 1950s. The adaptation emphasizes accessible Shakespeare!   NOTE:  They were originally hoping to hold this production outdoor at Foulton's Pond on Rumford Ave, but production aspects have changed that.  So now you can enjoy a break from the summer heat and enjoy this show at the air-conditioned Black Box Theater. 

Patriot Place is presenting some amazing talent this year to bring music to the plaza while you shop, dine and enjoy. Here's the lineup for this Sunday's Summer Concert Series, sponsored by Patch.

  • Heads Up - 4-5:30 p.m.
    Entertaining, energetic, solid musicianship and a concert sound playing all familiar Top 40, Rock & Dance Covers. Heads Up is a local cover band, based in Taunton and established in September 2007. Each member has over 10 to 15 years of experience in the music and entertainment field ranging from cover bands, original music, solo/acoustic sets and functions.
  • Split Risk - 6-7:30 p.m.
    Split Risk is a four-piece group of musicians who play for the love of the music. They’ve been playing limited engagements in and around the Boston area for the past year. Over that time they have built a loyal following of fans. For those of you who've not heard them, their rockin' rhythm section and killer vocals will knock your socks off!

 

The Comcast Center is presenting Big Time Summer Tour, 7 p.m.

 is presenting their  at 3 p.m. Chef Lacy will be putting together a special selection of Small Plates that are prepared patio side on our new commercial grade grill.
