CBS Scene Voted Top Sports Bar of the Year

The Nightclub & Bar Media Group, a leading provider of information and resource for bars, nightclubs and lounges, has named CBS Scene Restaurant & Bar at Patriot Place its “2013 Sports Bar of the Year.”

The 2013 Nightclub & Bar Awards were announced in February. The awards program is the “premier national nightlife-industry recognition program for applauding excellence in bar and nightclub concept development, operations, promotion, innovation and success.”

According to the Nightclub & Bar Media Group, more than 450 entries were submitted in 26 categories and “reviewed by a panel of judges including the nation’s top nightlife and beverage professionals, hospitality journalists, writers, owners and consultants.” Among the panel of judges were Jon Taffer, host of Spike TV’s “Bar Rescue,” and celebrity reporter Robin Leach.

CBS Scene’s entry cited the venue’s highlights, including its 147 HD screens and projectors that display sports and other programming, as well as its menu and commitment to guest service.
