Massive Toyota Recall Because Of Car Fire Risk

2.5 million cars in the U.S. affected by faulty door switch - Subaru and General Motors could be involved as well

Toyota is recalling 7.5 million cars worldwide - 2.5 million of them in the U.S. - because of a faulty door switch that could result in car fires.

It's the automaker's largest recall since the sudden acceleration recalls in 2009 and 2010.

Consumers reported smelling smoke, and within seconds there were flames coming from the driver's side door.
