Voters have approved a renovation plan for the old Lowney chocolate factory building.

Citizens gave the green light for the project Wednesday at Town Meeting, according to the Sun Chronicle.

Plans call for 130 apartments and room for a possible restaurant.

The factory opened in 1903 and closed in 2011.

Also on Wednesday, voters approved limiting where sex offenders can live and lifted a ban on playing games in the street, the Sun Chronicle reported.
