New Providence-Stoughton line schedule starts Nov. 14.

Area residents' weekday commuter rail access to Rhode Island's T.F. Green Airport will nearly double in two weeks.

The MBTA's Providence-Stoughton line's airport schedule will have 20 weekday stops at the InterLink at Green, in Warwick, R.I., starting Monday, Nov. 14, Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln D. Chafee, the Rhode Island Department of Transportation and the Rhode Island Airport Corporation announced today.

The Providence-Stoughton line includes the Sharon commuter rail station.

There have been 11 weekday stops since the MBTA started the service between Green and Boston's South Station last Dec. 6, Rhode Island officials said in a press release.

Available on the MBTA's website, the new schedule will for "the first time provide service to and from the Airport to better match up with flight departure and arrival times," the officials said.
