  • No certification necessary
  • Position is in IT and will deal with Applications, Infrastructure, Telecom, Professional Services

Integration Analyst at Covidien

Covidien's IS team is searching for an Integration Analyst  to implement technical solutions which integrate disparate applications both within and outside of Covidien infrastructure.  This position works under general supervision and designs, develops and implements new software solutions for integrating business systems. Provides detailed specifications from which integrations are implemented, including considerations for error handling and business activity monitoring. Responsible for completing several aspects of an integration implementation including programming, testing, debugging, and documentation. Participates in planning processes where application objectives are determined and provides input on processes to resolve complex problems. May interface with departmental managers to assess the need for new or enhanced application integrations.

The position reports to the IS Manager, Integration Center of Excellence and will be part of a technical team of application analysts and architects responsible for supporting new or existing integrations for various Covidien business functions.  The incumbent can be located in either our Mansfield, MA or New Haven, CT offices.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  •  Works closely with business analysts from multiple business domains to translate their business requirements into fully supportable integration solutions.
  • Translates conceptual integration solutions into detailed technical requirements documents.
  • Develops implementation plan for integration solutions.
  • Contributes to, follows and enforces established standards, best practices, quality assurance procedures and Covidien SDIM Methodology
  • Executes integration projects to meet project objectives on-time and within budget
  • Contributes with other Integration Center of Excellence team members to define an integrated, strategic technology roadmap and integration architecture.
