4. Don't Just Stand There, Plant Something!

From Keep Mansfield Beautiful:

Massachusetts certified horticulturists from Guerrini Landscape will gather at the Winthrop Street parking lot on Route 106 this morning at 9 a.m. to provide a public demonstration of proper tree planting techniques. Of the nine new flowering crabapple trees, four were donated to the town of Mansfield by Guerrini Landscape, while Keep Mansfield Beautiful covered the cost of the other five trees.

The tree planting and public demonstration of planting techniques are part of the “Don’t Just Stand There…PLANT SOMETHING!” campaign taking place across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. This is a joint program of the Massachusetts Flower Growers Association (MFGA) and the Massachusetts Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA). Plant Something MA seeks to get more people to enjoy gardening and support their local, independent nurseries, garden centers, landscapers, and growers.
