1. There will be a Superhero explosion at the Mansfield Public Library from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. You will be able to create your very own Superhero using paper, felt and fabric.
2. Art is on the docket at Moose Hill, 293 Moose Hill St. in Sharon, today, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. There will be a Juried Exhibits “Call to Artists” Spring Exhibit  The Moose Hill Gallery will be accepting submissions from artists interested in exhibiting their nature-based artwork on the concept, “Rhythm of Nature: Explosion of Rebirth.” The spontaneous flow and movements of nature govern and orchestrate the natural cycles of our world. We are all part of this essential interaction. Each spring we experience an explosion of rebirth in nature, the rite of spring is inescapable, the world is reborn. As an artist, how do you express your perspectives, passions and feelings in relation to spring? Traditional or abstract? Dramatic color or a soft and gentle approach? How does this concept translate into your artwork?  No pre-registration required.

5. The Mansfield High boys' and girls' basketball team will only have to wait one more day to find out where they will be playing in the state tournament. The Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association will be announcing the seedings Friday.
