5 Things: Town Warrant Released, School Budget Public Hearing, and More

It's Tuesday, April 9 and here are the 5 things you need to know!

1. Today's Forecast From the National Weather Service

  • Today: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10am, then a slight chance of showers between 10am and 11am. Patchy fog before 8am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 72. South wind 6 to 11 mph becoming west 12 to 17 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
  • Tonight: Showers likely, mainly between 4am and 5am. Increasing clouds, with a low around 47. Light and variable wind. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

3. Book Bingo at Mansfield Public Libary

The Mansfield Public Library will hold Book Bingo today at 4 p.m. Come have fun and take home some good reading. Ages 5 and up, preregistration is required. Call (508) 261-7380 for more information or to register. Sign-ups begin on Monday, April 1.

5. Public Hearing Notice

The Mansfield Public Schools will hold a public hearing on the FY2014 School Budget on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 7:30PM at the Mansfield High School Auditorium
