2. Boy Scout Troop 17 Pasta Dinner

Dinner will be served from 5:30 to 7:00, followed by a showing of “Follow Me, Boys”, the 1966 movie starring Fred McMurray as a scoutmaster in the 1930’s.

Dinner and movie price: $10/adults, $5/seniors or children 12 and under; $30 maximum per family.

Please look through your attics, picture albums, etc for any scouting memorabilia you might have.  We would like to photograph, scan or borrow anything they have for inclusion in a mini-museum at the 90th Anniversary Celebration on June 1st.

3. Mansfield Firefighters Local 1820 35th Annual Golf Classic

Registration is now open for the Mansfield Firefighters Local 1820 35th Annual Golf Classic at the Norton Country Club on May 16 .

Individuals can sign up for $120 or $480 for a team. Costs include green fees, cart, dinner buffet, and prizes for 1st, 2nd, and third place.

4. ESBA Percussion & Winter Guard Show at MHS

Mansfield High School's home show is this Saturday 3/23/13, starting at 3 p.m.  A day of music and artistry, Mansfield Band Parents will host over 35 groups as they perform their 2013 winter shows! Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children and seniors!

 

5. New England Revolution & Kraft Sports Group Hosts Sports-themed Career Fair on March 23

College and high school students who dream of working in the ever-growing U.S. sports industry are invited to register for the Kraft Sport Group’s Executive Lecture and Sport Management and Entertainment Career Fair. The annual career fair gives current students and prospective employees a chance to network and interview with top sports-business professionals located in the New England region, including representatives from professional teams and leagues; media consortiums; and entertainment and leisure businesses. Companies in attendance are also offering an array of internship opportunities, as well as part-time and full-time positions to fill.

By registering to the career fair, applicants will receive complimentary parking, as well as a ticket to the New England Revolution season opener later that day against Sporting Kansas City at 4 p.m.
