3. YMCA Winter Wonderland

Hockomock Area YMCA invites area residents to enjoy a Winter Wonderland evening event on Friday, Jan. 18 6:30 to 8 p.m. at its Bernon Family Branch, 45 Forge Hill Road, Franklin, and Invensys Foxboro Branch, 67 Mechanic St., Foxborough and 6 to 8 p.m. at its N. Attleboro Branch, 300 Elmwood St., N. Attleboro.

This free family community event offers lots of interactive games and crafts for members and non-members alike.  The North Attleboro location will offer a Polar Plunge, so don’t forget to bring your bathing suits. In addition, each branch will offer a spaghetti and meatball family dinner option for $5 per member and $8 per non-member. Dinner starting times vary by branch.

4. The Kennedys at the Rose Garden Coffee House

The Rose Garden provides live folk and acoustic music shows in a non-alcoholic setting with hot and cold drinks and home-made dessert items. The Kennedys are a high energy husband and wife duo who are also currently touring with the legendary Texas songstress, Nanci Griffith. $16 tickets at the door at 7:30 pm or, better yet, order in advance at www.rosegardenfolk.com. 5. Mansfield High School All-Sports Booster Club 5K

Registration for the Mansfield High School All-Sports Booster Club 5K is now available through the booster's website. Prior to May 14 registration will be $15 and $20 after the date.
