Help Keep Mansfield Beautiful Plant New Trees!

Massachusetts certified horticulturists from Guerrini Landscape of Mansfield will gather at the Winthrop Street parking lot on Route 106 (directly across from the Jeep dealership) this Wednesday, May 15, at 9 a.m. to provide a public demonstration of proper tree planting techniques. Of the nine new flowering crabapple trees, four were donated to the town of Mansfield by Guerrini Landscape, while Keep Mansfield Beautiful covered the cost of the other five trees.

The tree planting and public demonstration of planting techniques are part of the “Don’t Just Stand There…PLANT SOMETHING!” campaign taking place across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. This is a joint program of the Massachusetts Flower Growers Association (MFGA) and the Massachusetts Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA). Plant Something MA seeks to get more people to enjoy gardening and support their local, independent nurseries, garden centers, landscapers, and growers.

Mastering LinkedIn

If you need to figure out how to use LinkedIn to grow your business, you'll want to join the Mastering LinkedIn workshop at the Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce from 8:00-9:30am.

This workshop is geared around the individuals in the class so no workshop is the same.  Come prepared to learn the importance of your personal profile, how to connect by sending and receiving invitations and how to communicate effectively.

Jen Vondenbrink of Vondenbrink Consulting and Social Media Manager for the Tri-Town Chamber will be your instructor for the day.  She's conducted LinkedIn workshops for the Tri-Town Chamber nearly every month for the last 5 years.

Even if you have a good idea about how to use LinkedIn, guaranteed you'll have takeaways by the end of the class.
