Tuesday, March 26

Nomination Papers Due!

All nomination papers for May's town election are due in the Town Clerk's office by the end of business. 50 signatures are needed to qualify for the ballot.

Wednesday, March 27

Planning Board Meeting, 7:00 p.m. at Town Hall

The board will call to order their weekly meeting at 7 p.m.

 

Selectmen Meeting, 7:00 p.m. at Town Hall

The board will hear an update on the partnerships and grant process by the Mansfield Education Fund and review a pair of annual town meeting warrant options.

Thursday, March 28

Maundy Thursday at Congressional Church of Mansfield, 7:30 p.m.

On Maundy Thursday we invite you to share in a special, reflective service at 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary where special music, roles dramatically portrayed, Communion and reflections on that night of nights await participants. Invite family and friends to share this very special time together.

 

Mansfield High School Clothing/Textiles Recycle Day, 8:30 a.m.

As long as they are clean and dry textile items include: bedding, comforters, sheets, pillows, blankets; belts, coats, ties; curtains, draperies, table cloths, placemats; stuffed animals, towels, bathrobes; hats, jackets, jerseys, gloves, scarves; purses, duffle bags, totes; shoes, boots, flip flops, slippers; skirts, dresses, capris, slacks, blazers, sweaters, shirts, vests, sweatpants, sweatshirts, t-shirts, undergarments, bras, socks, pajamas, shorts, pants etc...

Collect your items and follow signs to the location behind Mansfield High School from 8:30am to 5:00pm and drop off your textiles while the opportunity lasts.

Friday, March 29

Easter Egg Hunt at Robinson School, 10 a.m.

The Walking Warriors Youth Relay for Life Team will be hosting their 5th Annual Easter Egg Hunt for children pre-school - 2nd Grade.  The event will take place on from 10am - noon at the Robinson Elementary School Wonder Works Playground. (Rain Date = Saturday, March 30th from 10am - noon.)  

Arrive anytime between 10am - 12pm ("open house" concept).  Cost is $5 per child (cash or check payable to the American Cancer Society) and all proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.  Activities include the Easter Egg Hunt, Arts & Crafts, Face Painting, Jelly Bean Estimation and Games.  

 

Monday, April 1

The New Police Chief is Sworn In!

The public is invited to Mansfield High School for the swearing in of Ronald Sellon as the new Mansfield Chief of Police at 5:30 p.m.
