Around Town: Say Goodbye to Janet Campbell, See When the Hornets Play, and More!

The following meetings and events will be held in Mansfield this week:

Housing Authority Board Meeting

The housing authority will meet at 7:00 p.m. at 15 Park Street. To see their agenda, click here.

Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting

The Zoning Board of Appeals will hold two variance public hearing starting at 7:30 p.m. for the frontage, lot width, and depth of 260 Gilbert Street and for a sign at the Sunoco at 70 Copeland Drive.

Hornets vs. Warriors

The Mansfield Hornets' boys' basketball team will take on the Brookline Warriors in the semi-final round of the MIAA Division 1 South tournament at 7:30 p.m. at UMass-Boston. Fans are advised to get to the arena at least an hour early. The winner will play either Newton North or North Quincy in the South Sectional finals on March 9 at UMass-Boston.

Say Goodbye to Janet Campbell

Janet Campbell, our Library Director for the past 12 years, and Youth Librarian for many years before that, is retiring. Many of you have known her for years. We will all miss her. We will have a reception in our Meeting Room at 4:00 p.m. for those of you who know her and would like to say goodbye.

Selectmen to Meet

The Mansfield Board of Selectmen will meet in room 3 a/b at Town Hall at 7:00 p.m.

Hornets vs. Panthers.....Again!

The Mansfield High School boys' ice hockey team will face a familiar foe in the MIAA Division 2 South semi-finals in Franklin. The Panthers and Hornets will drop the puck at 5:30 at the Gallo Arena in Bourne. The winner will play either Oliver Ames or Canton in the South Sectional finals.
