Around Town: Star Wars Symposium, Selectmen Meeting, and More

The following meetings and events will be held in Mansfield this week:

Tues. March 12

Hornets vs. Raiders

The Mansfield Hornets will take on the Central Catholic Raiders at the TD Garden in the MIAA Division 1 State semifinals. Tickets are available for $10.95 though Ticketmaster or at the arena for $15.

Wed. March 13

Planning Board Meeting

The board will meet at 7 p.m. in room 2 a/b at Town Hall. There will be a scenic road public hearing at 7 p.m. for T&M Realty at 375 Gilbert Street Lot 1 followed by a site plan review at 7:30 p.m. for Cavallo & Signoriello at 190 Chauncy Street.

Selectmen Meeting

The Mansfield Board of Selectmen will hold their weekly meeting at 7 p.m. in room 3 a/b at Town Hall. Agenda items include a disucssion concerning Fees For Licenses For Private Parking Lots and a letter requesting amending parking egulations banning overnight parking on Eddy Street and the intersection of Branch Street

Thurs. March 14

Finance Committee Meeting

The committee will meet at 7:30 p.m. and will have a presentation and review the Conservation Commission's FY 14 Budget.

Sat. March 16

Star Wars Symposium at the Library

Peter Struzziero presents his highly acclaimed Star Wars Symposium! Are you a Star Wars fanatic? Then this is the program for you! Wear a Star Wars costume (or not) and share your enthusiasm at the Star Wars Symposium. Ages 5 and up, families welcome, no registration required.
