Best of Patch Reader's Choice: Geno's Wins Best Fries in Mansfield

Geno's Restaurant & Lounge won this week's Best of Patch Reader's Choice for best french fries in Mansfield.

Geno's beat out 14 other restaurants and cafes to come out on top in the American tradition of sliced potatoes.

Casey O'Conors came in second this week and Jimmy's Pub came in third.

"Excellent," owner and head chef John Spiezio said. "I heard earlier this week we were doing pretty well. I really appreciate it."

While everyone has their own fancies on how they eat or cook their french fries, Spiezio said there is no secret ingredient in the recipe.

"There's no secret, but I ain't giving out the recipe," he said.
