Five Things You Need to Know in Mansfield Feb. 18 and 19

SE Mass Sliders fundraiser this weekend.

1. Mansfield's Our Daily Bread is distributing their food Saturday at 9 a.m. Come down for a hot meal or learn how to volunteer. This all-volunteer food pantry is one of the most vibrant organizations in Mansfield. Distributing food to Mansfield residents in need since 1997, this organization began as an outreach of the Congregational Church of Mansfield, located just two doors down, and has grown into one of the largest food distribution centers in the area.

2.  The Mansfield Music and Arts Society and Morini Gallery is presenting a photo exhibit featuring the works of Margo Lemieux, Nancy Antico, Kathleen Ezersky, John Schreiber, Rebecca Skinner.

3. The SE Mass Sliders from Mansfield, the first ever 12 year old baseball team from Mansfield to participate in the world famous Cooperstown (NY) Dreams Park Baseball Tournament is holding a fundraising evening at Casey O’Connor’s on Sunday, February 19th at 7pm.

4. Bring the Family & chow down this Sunday at Christina's Fireside Grille's fabulicious Sunday Brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

5. Jonny Lang is playing at Showcase Live tonight at 7 p.m. The world-famous Jonny Lang has been thrilling audiences with his incredible guitar playing for upwards of a decade now. A teenage prodigy, Lang has won Grammys, toured with the likes of Buddy Guy, B.B. King, and Jeff Beck, and been invited to play at the White House.
