Local places to share with your family.

f you are looking for a few kid-friendly places and activities, then you have clicked on the right link.  We’ve assembled a weekly calendar with some ideas to keep the kids and the family busy with fun.

We understand that your time is limited, so we have tackled the research for you.  Check back each Thursday for a list of events and activities for the entire family to enjoy locally or within reasonable driving distance.

Where/When:  Bethany Congregational Church, Wednesday 9:30-11 a.m.
Why Go?: A free weekly playtime for children and their parents/caregivers. The gym provides  ride-on toys, bounce houses, balls, slides, teeter-totters and more! This is a great way for your child to meet new friends and for you to connect with other parents. There’s no need to sign-up – just come when you can!

Homeschool: Basic Botany 101- Trees 
Where/When: 417 Park St, Attleboro,  02703 (Oak Knoll Wildlife Sanctuary), Tuesday March 1, 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. 
Why Go?: Do you know the reason why trees are so tall? Join Master Gardener Kathi Gariepy on a journey through the forest at Oak Knoll. Topics include cell structure, winter tree identification using classification keys and habitat exploration.
Pricing: Children: $30 members/$35 nonmembers.

Homeschool: Eco-Geography Italy 
Where/When: 417 Park St, Attleboro, 02703 (Oak Knoll Wildlife Sanctuary), Wednesday, March 2, 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. 
Why Go?: Eco-geography, a study of ecological systems, history and culture around the world. Learn through maps, history, current events, and a unique study of geography. Also, Discover Italy! "A Taste of Italy", a presentation of the delicious foods of the region.
Pricing: Children: $30 members/$35 nonmembers.

Early Spring Craft Show Walpole 
Where/When: 108 Robbins Rd, Walpole, MA, March 5, 1o:00am to 3:00pm
Why Go?: Get ready for spring! Handcrafted jewelry, doll clothes, Woodturning, penny rugs, kitchen towel crafts, candles, skin care, handmade handbags, backpacks, hair accessories and much more! Several Foxboro artisans will be there too!
Pricing: Adults $1; Seniors .50; Kids free
