Halloween Horrors: A Snowstorm in October
Area expected to get 3 to 5 inches of snow.
Power outages and snow-covered roads are expected to give Mansfield residents nightmares this Halloween weekend.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory and a high wind warning for much of Southern New England.
The Mansfield area could get 3 to 5 inches of snow and see gusts around 40 mph before this storm ends, according to the weather service's website. The winds and the snow could damage trees and cause power outages, the agency said.
