Koko FitClub to Honor Beth Flint Through Relay for Life Event

The fitness club at the Mansfield/Easton boarder will hold the Koko Five Million Point Challenge in memory of Mansfield's Beth Flint.

Koko FitClub has announced that they will once again hold the “Koko 5 Million Point Challenge” campaign in support of the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life.

This year, the campaign will be dedicated to club member and Mansfield resident Beth Flint who lost her battle with cancer in January

"Beth was a tremendous community advocate, supporter of Relay 4 Life and many other charitable efforts.  She has shared many smiles in our community from her local family business Flint Farm," Koko FitClub said in a press release.

For 24 hours, beginning Saturday, May 4, at 8 a.m. to 8 a.m. on Sunday, May 5, Koko FitClub members, employees, neighbors local businesses and staff are invited to participate in one or more 15-minute cardio sessions at their local club.

For every 15 minute cardio session completed at Koko FitClub, 500 points are earned.  Community members are being asked to pledge to give 15 minutes (or more) of their time to help us reach the goal.  And, as a token of appreciation, Koko FitClub will be providing non-member participants with a free 15-day membership.

For every cardio session completed at Koko Mansfield during the 24-hour period, $1 will be donated to the Mansfield Relay for Life.  To receive a portion of the proceeds as a donation specifically for the Mansfield Relay, please mention the Mansfield Relay as the referral source to the event.

Last year, the club donated $6,000 to the ACS and saw a 77 percent increase in cardio workouts for the 5 Million Point Challenge weekend over previous weekends.

Koko FitClub is located at 15 Robert Dr. #2A in Easton. Registration for the event can be done on the Koko FitClub website.
