Macy's Annual Christmas Display to Feature Mansfield Woman's Tree

The 45-foot evergreen will be placed and decorated in Downtown Crossing after a Mansfield resident won the annual Macy's "Perfect Christmas Tree" contest.

A resident of Mansfield has been graced with an early holiday gift from Macy's. Or, rather, she's been chosen to provide a perfect gift - a Christmas tree.

A 45-foot evergreen tree belonging to Mansfield's Kathleen Crowley has been selected as the Christmas tree for Macy's annual display in Downtown Crossing, according to a report on MyFoxBoston.com.

Crowley was selected as part of Macy's annual "Perfect Christmas Tree" contest on Saturday morning, according to the report. The tree was subsequently scheduled to be cut and brought into Boston, where it will be raised onto Macy's marquee ledge.
