Mansfield Airport Receives Grant for Runways
Congressman Joe Kennedy is announcing a grant for the Mansfield Municipal Airport.
Congressman Joe Kennedy recently announced the Mansfield Municipal Airport will receive a grant totaling $254,970 from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The funds will be used to improve the safety of the airport’s runways.
“The Mansfield Municipal Airport is an active part of the local economy and an important regional center of general aviation,” said Congressman Kennedy. “This FAA grant will allow for necessary improvements to the safety of the airport’s runway, and I congratulate chairman Howard Fiske and the Mansfield Airport Commission on earning this award.”
