Mansfield Chabad Center and Emerald Square to Celebrate Chanukah

The Emerald Square Mall once again joins the Chabad Jewish Center.

Chanukah -The Festival of Lights- for many of us brings back fond memories of childhood years and serves to renew our sense of identity. The Chanukah lights provide us with warmth, joy, strength and inspiration. Such is the purpose of a community-wide celebration to be held at the Emerald Square Mall in North Attleboro this Chanukah.

The Emerald Square Mall once again joins the Chabad Jewish Center in inviting the entire community to celebrate the Festival of Lights at a public Menorah kindling ceremony. The grand Chanukah celebration will take place on Thursday, December 13th, at 6:30 PM on the Second floor of the Emerald Square Mall, 999 South Washington Street in North Attleboro.

Following the kindling of a large menorah, the program will feature crafts for the children, A Free Chanukah raffle, lively music, donuts and more.

The Menorah will be at the mall throughout the entire Chanukah.

Chanukah, a celebration for all time is highlighted by the kindling of the Menorah each night of the holiday. "In ancient times our ancestors rededicated the Temple in Jerusalem with the Menorah. Today, we rededicate ourselves to making this world a better and brighter place." said Rabbi Yossi Kivman, director of the Chabad Jewish Center
